On 5th December Ed Rambeau’s website will be 5 years old – I have put together this video/slideshow as a tribute to Ed.

I’m a former NYer now living in Brisbane, Australia via Sydney – thus my nick. My field is human services and my specialty is developing communication programs for autistic adults, with moderate to severe challenging behavior.

But currently I’m taking a LONG break from work & tooling round town & just takin it easy and enjoying my interests:

Vinyl-to-digital transfers, editing, remastering and track mixing. I’m gonna travel round the world soon – lookin forward to that – family’s important to me – enjoy workouts when on a body-culture trip which I’m not on now – like 1-on-1 with interesting friends – good home cooking – building/carpentry – my modified V6Commodore & my music collection.

Born just into Cancer sometime last century, I’m a true INTJ personality who celebrates bachelorhood because it’s good.

I’m an Eddie Rambeau fan because:

• I love his old records and comps from the Sixties
• He keeps it goin’ – doesn’t rest on old glories & he’s sounding better than ever
• The dude keeps up-to-date with fans & communication; GREAT netiquette

I genuinely wish him all the very best, and I believe a cover of “A Present From Eddie” by Eminem is long overdue.

I have always loved music and group harmony “aka” Doo Wops have all ways been my favorites. I grew up in a small New Jersey town call Matawan Twp., now known as Aberdeen…… I am the oldest of 4 born in South Amboy and lived in Perth Amboy until we moved to Matawan in the 50s…..

Growing up my favorite group was The Four Seasons and The Duprees….. I learned to play the guitar at a early age and the first song I ever learned how to play and sing was “You Belong To Me” . I loved to inmate Elvis and Roy Orbinson and may I say I could hold a tune pretty good. I had a garage band and we were pretty good too.

I went to Matawan Regional High Shcool and could remember singing on the corner everyday or almost everyday with Richie Rosato a friend until this day.
Well I went on to join The Marines in 1969 and he went on to sing lead for The Duprees….. They were good times back then…. The dances, the groups, the local fairs, life was great.

It was not until about 4 years ago I went into music by being a DJ on an Internet Radio Show, and I still do a show on Destination Doo Wop Network and also on WRBG FM a Delaware Station….. I love bringing fond memories back to listeners through great songs from yesteryear. I love music and music is the inernational language for words such as love, peace, and great
memories.

I was born in 1965, about the time “Concrete & Clay” was finishing it’s chart run, in Baltimore, Md. Surrounded by music loving family, I grew up with the sounds of my parents and my grandparents era as well as those of my own and it’s led to not only a deep, passionate appreciation, but also a substantial record/cd collection that recently required the purchase of a bigger house.

I’ve lived in the metro Atlanta, GA area since 1989 and I guess it is now home. I’ve been in a loving relationship since 1992 and we have a great home full of music and my other passion, books, and that is frequently host to a large, diverse group of friends and family who often drown out the music with laughter. We have three dogs, Irish Terriers, (Terriers, not setters, although every Irish Setter that I’ve ever met has been nothing less than charming) who are spoiled beyond belief and usually get the best spots in the bed and also dog the covers.

I’ve been a nightclub dj, a bartender, the worlds worst waiter, a fashion victim, worked in various retail settings, a human resources specialist, event planner, and currently can be found crunching numbers for a cad/cam company that has a presence in over 60 countries and that constantly attempts to drain my soul. To combat that I am a frustrated writer who constantly attempts to write about the music that I love while dancing about architecture.

Ed’s “Concrete & Clay” has been one of my “treasures” since I was a wee one due to Ed’s “awww”s and “mmmmm”s that, even at a tender age, sounded a bit lascivious to me even if I didn’t know what lascivious meant at the time.

 My name is Shari, I have many passions, music,  being at the top of the list. My music collection is huge and I still harbour 45 rpms, albums, and even a 8Track or two.

I live in Pennsylvania where I am a special education/visual impaired instructor at our local high school. I have a beautiful daughter whom  fills my life. My pets include, 3 horses, 8 dogs, 2 cats, 1 rabbit (All rescues) A Believer in Angels, Spirituality also fills my life.

Ed Rambeau, Is a multi-talented man. His music brings back memories of the “Bandstand era”  When we could sway and swoon, and understood the lyrics too!

 Hi, my name is Bob Wallis, I live north of Boston Massachusetts, and run a small recording studio, North Shore Soundworks (http://northshoresoundworks.com/).

I’ve engineered, mixed, and mastered several CDs that have attained modest releases on small, independent labels including remastering 60s era pop/rock recordings from studio tapes, vinyl and acetate.
